Discover Hormonal Balance Through Movement

An online course of animated somatic movement sequences for hormone balance.

The endocrine system is a network of small glandular bodies that weave along your spine, from your head to the base of your spine. These glands release hormones into your blood, controlling essential things like growth, metabolism, and sexual activity.

Sometimes, these glands can become too active or not active enough. When this happens, it affects your entire body. You might feel super excited and then suddenly really tired. Your moods might swing like a pendulum, or you might feel both super happy and then very sad. Women, in particular, may experience symptoms related to the menstrual cycle, fertility, or menopause, such as mood swings, cramps, digestive issues, cravings, trouble getting pregnant, hot flashes, or difficulty sleeping. Astonishingly, around 80% of women encounter hormonal imbalances at some point in their lives.

Animated Somatic Movement Sequences are here to help you bring attention and take care of this important team of glands. All movement sequences are designed based on Experiential Anatomy, Developmental Movement Patterns and Somatic Psychology.

In this course you will:

  • Initiate breath and movement from specific glands and bodies, including the coccygeal body, perineal body, gonads, adrenals, pancreas, thoracobody, heart body, thymus, thyroid, parathyroids, carotid bodies, pituitary, mammillary bodies, and pineal body.

  • Align the energy centers along the spine.

  • Establish connections between these energy centers and the bones and joints.

  • Discover the glandular support for the spine and head.

By practicing movement sequences consciously, you can actively engage with these powerful glands to restore balance. This not only helps your body work better but also brings a clearer connection between your body, mind, and emotions.

These glands don't just impact your hormones; they also affect how your bones, muscles, and organs work. Through movement, you'll not only feel more open, flexible, and strong but also more alert and vibrant. This active support from your endocrine system can bring out feelings, images, memories, and dreams from your inner world, sparking creativity and transformation.
